Job Title: Carpenter for Tiny Homes Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $20-25/hour DOE
Hours: Typically 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm M-F
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Carpenter for a full-time seasonal position with our client, a reputable manufacturer of tiny homes and cottages, located in Salem, Oregon. The Carpenter will play an essential role in assisting lead builders with framing. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wholesome company and further your career in this industry, located in Salem, OR.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for:
  • Building floor, wall, and roof framing for tiny homes
  • The work setting is underneath a large covered pavilion. - No rain or sunburn!
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling lumber and other materials. Each model is different so there is a variety of work every day
  • Using tools such as nail guns, saws, etc
  • Other duties as assigned by lead builders

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Proficient understanding of framing components(studs, joists, headers, etc)
  • 2 years of framing/carpentry experience 
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
  •  Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.
