Job Description


Job Title: Finance Clerk Urgently Hiring
Pay: $24.00/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm  
(flexible on start time being anywhere between 7:30-9:30am and then work an 8 hour shift)
MAY NOT remain at 40 hours over time but wouldn't go below 30 if it decreases at all
Start Date: ASAP

This position is a full-time and permanent opportunity with long-term implications!

Shoe warehouse located in Clackamas that is the parent company to 3 major shoe brands has a great opportunity for a Finance Clerk!  The Finance Clerk maintains detailed accounting records through prompt data entry, the use of excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

As a Finance Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintain accounts payable in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Consistently verify and post receivables on a daily basis.
  • Post and reconcile daily store receivables.
  • Maintain accurate records through account reconciliation and record retention.
  • Participate in clear communication with vendors, customers and co-workers.
  • Support the department in ways that assist the team and company in reaching its financial goals, while following standard accounting procedures and practices.
  • Enter credit card purchases and payments. Reconcile against statements and receipts. Ensure accurate posting through communication with cardholders.
  • Maintain accounts payable through the prompt entry of invoices and credit memos.
  • Assist with weekly payment processing
  • Maintain accurate vendor records through monthly vendor account reconciliation.
  • Work with wholesale division to record wholesale customer invoices and payments.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Comfortable working with a small team and in a quiet office setting (friendly and engaging but quiet)
  • Comfortable with a role where you are reviewing and correcting information vs running the full data entry cycle
  • Comfortable working with 2 screens and multiple systems-will be trained on systems
  • Experience with AP and AR
  • Any Accounting experience is helpful 
  • Any Excel experience is helpful
  • Any Retail experience is helpful
