Job Title: Hand Solder Associate Urgently Hiring! 
Pay: $20/Hour
Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM M-F
Start Date: 03/10/2025
Temporary Project 

We are looking to hire a reliable Hand Solderer in Corvallis who will be responsible for assembling electrical equipment. The Electronic Assembler/Solderer will maintain integrity of the parts and placing parts onto circuit boards. This is a full-time, day shift position. We are seeking a candidate who can read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and tools, and fit electronic components together.

As a Hand Solder Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Perform precise hand soldering operations on through-hole and surface-mount components
    according to established standards and specifications.
  • May work as Assembly Associate performing mechanical assembly
  • Interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and diagrams to execute soldering tasks
    accurately.
  • Verify component polarity and orientation to prevent assembly errors and ensure product
    functionality.
  • Maintain a consistent level of quality while meeting production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the manager, technical team, and QA to resolve any soldering-related issues
    and provide feedback for process improvement.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • MUST HAVE SOLDERING EXPERIENCE
  • Good hand dexterity
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Follow written and oral instructions 
  • Ability to work on your feet through shift 
  • Proficiency in both through-hole and surface-mount hand soldering techniques.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IPC standards; J Standard certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and their polarities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
