Job Title: Machine Operator Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $17/hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Machine Operator for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable irrigation pipe manufacturing company located in Harrisburg, OR. The Machine Operator will play an essential role in setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery in the rolling department, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and producing high-quality workpieces. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating machinery and equipment in the rolling department.
  • Reading job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Observing machine operations to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions.
  • Measuring workpiece dimensions to ensure machine operation accuracy.
  • Stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished workpieces.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • No formal education required, but experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Comfortability using machines such as: Punch Press, Roll Forming Machines, Saws, Grinders.
  • Ability to work repetitively with machines for up to 8-10 hours per shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
