Job Title: Journey level Industrial Electrician - Urgently Hiring! 
Pay: $33-$40/hr DOE 
Hours: Day shift  40 hrs/wk Swing shift 430p - 3a
Start Date: ASAP!

Locally owned and operated mill located in Roseburg, OR is currently seeking a Journey Level Industrial Electrician. This position offers a great pathway for a long-term career for the right individual! 

As a Journey Level Industrial Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for:
  • This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with responsibility for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical control systems, PLCs, networking, and HMI systems
  • You’ll work closely with both production and engineering to keep our operation running smoothly and safely
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and control equipment
  • Diagnose electrical problems, replace faulty components, and test systems for proper function
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and blueprints
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and motion control systems (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Install and configure electronic devices such as HMIs, VFDs, and sensors
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including wiring changes and system configurations

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Work in a range of temperatures and conditions (dusty, loud, hot/cold)
  • Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, and out of a man basket
  • Frequently walk, climb ladders, bend, squat, and stand for long periods
  • Lift or move up to 50 lbs regularly
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Oregon Journeyman License: PJ (Plant Journeyman) or General Journeyman
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and time management skills
  • Comfortable reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Computer skills for documenting work and updating system configurations
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges with minimal supervision
  • Training available for the right candidate
