Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Urgently Hiring
Pay: $52,000 - $64,480 Salary DOE
Hours: 4 pm-2:30 am
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a  position for our client, a wood treating facility located in Winston, OR . The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will assist with the facilities regular maintenance and diagnostics of machinery. This is a direct hire position for a Maintenance Millwright for Graveyard Shift, located in Winston Oregon.

As a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
  • The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repair activities to keep equipment in working order while maintaining environmental and safety compliance at all times.

  • Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant activities.

  • Assist Industrial Maintenance Mechanic II and/or Maintenance Lead with repair and installation of equipment

  • Perform quality welding jobs as required; such as piping and support structures.

  • Maintain welding equipment and other tools in working order.

  • Utilize the work order system to ensure work completed is tracked and recorded.

  • Maintain and follow preventative maintenance program with accurate record keeping.

  • Keep the shop area clean and compliant with all safety programs.

  • Attend all training sessions and safety meetings.

  • Other duties as directed.

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

  • Experience mechanical and electrical maintenance required.

  • Welding skills preferred.

  • Willingness to learn treating plant operation.

  • Ability to identify worn parts and knowledge of how to replace them.

  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to demonstrate behaviors conforming to companies set of values and accepted standards.
  • Ability to change motors and trouble shoot
