Job Title: Manual Machinist  - Urgently Hiring
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00+ per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Machinist for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable hydraulic repair facility located in Springfield, Oregon.
The Machinist will play an essential role in the hands on operation of machinery and lathes.  The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of hydraulic repair.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a long-standing business, that has been in operation for 40+ years and further your career in this industry, located in Springfield, Oregon.

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Machine operator
  • Run Manual Metal Lathe
  • Use of Grinder
  • Some welding
  • Cleaning up as needing using brooms

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Must have machining experience 
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic components a must
  • Comfortable using many pneumatic and hand tools
  • Must be able to lift/maneuver 40-50 lbs consistently
  • Must be able to read & use a tape measure & convert to decimals
  • No certifications required
