Job Title: Front End Loader Operator
Pay: $18.00 per hour and $22.12 after 90 days
Hours:Monday - Friday 5 a - 1 p
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Front End Loader Operator for the leading manufacturer of abrasive blast media, foundry products, roofing materials and specialty aggregates. As a Front End Loader Operator  you will be responsible for:

  • Operate a front-end loader for stockpiling of material, filling hoppers and loading trucks.

  • Loader Operator will also stockpile material coming off of dewater stacker into designated rows

  • Loader Operators may be required to load trucks.

  • Work with the Plant Operator in keeping the area cleaned up from spillage.

  • In between feeding the plant and stacking material, the loader operator will assist the plant operator with tacks inside the ball mill building to support the process.

  • Grease, fuel, and maintain fluid levels on the front-end loader.

  • When Ball Mill is down, a loader operator may be required to stack, move, and/or support other process areas in the plant.

  • When the loader is down for maintenance and no other Front-end Loader is available to perform the job the Front-end Loader Operator will help the maintenance mechanic. These duties will be limited duties such as changing oil, helping with hose replacement and other small tasks such as this.

  • The Loader Operator is responsible for keeping material in the feed hopper so the Ball Mill can maintain a consistent feed rate.

  • The operator is expected to perform necessary preventive maintenance on the loader, various conveyors, and any other equipment which he / she is operating.

  • Front-end Loader Operator is expected to help with any maintenance repairs as required.

  • When the Front-end Loader Operator is not loading Ball Mill feed hopper, stockpiling material or any other duties outlined above the operator is expected to remain busy doing cleanup throughout his work area.

  • Duties may vary and are not limited to those listed above

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to follow written/verbal instruction

  • Ability and understanding of general mathematics at a high school level

  • At least 2 years heavy equipment operating experience is preferred
