Job Title: Fuel Handler
Pay: $20.83
Hours: Friday - Monday 6:00AM - 6:00PM
Start Date: 6/9
1st Week Training Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7:00AM - 3:30PM
Work Schedule AFTER Training:
Friday - Monday
6:00AM - 6:00PM
Leading plywood mill whose core value is to create opportunities and long-term security for our employees, and families by building a strong company to be passed onto future generations is seeking a Fuel Handler.
As a Fuel Handler you will be responsible for:
- Continuously monitor and operate the Boiler Fuel System
- Feed fuel into the system and maintain proper working order including dealing with plug-ups
- Clean boiler cells by using proper cell procedures and combustion chamber
- Operate front-end loader/bobcat
- Monitor boiler equipment/gauges/valves
- Monitor boiler computer readout
- Firewatch
- Cleanup during down times
- Rotate to different positions for cross-training
- Assist co-workers and maintenance personnel in basic maintenance procedures for boiler area
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Must be able to stand throughout shift
- Bending and lifting throughout shift
- Forklift or machine operation experience preferred
