Job Description


Job Title: Materials Handler Receiving Clerk
Pay: 17.50/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pm
Must be available for overtime
Start Date: ASAP

A local electronics manufacturer is looking for Materials Handler Receiving Clerk to join their production team. Main focus is to ensure that all components are received, properly labeled, and stored; to determine component shortages; to conduct inventory; to assemble production kits; and to count and restock unused components.

As a Materials Handler Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Using bill of materials, pull stored parts and build production kits for use in production. 
  • Count, weigh and check incoming and outgoing components, parts, and supplies.
  • Match received components to purchase orders and enter into inventory system; distribute and store components. 
  • Count and restock parts from kits returned from production. 
  • Enter new jobs into inventory system and run component shortage and damage reports to determine inventory to be purchased. 
  • Publish all paperwork related to production components, including component labels, job tracker bin labels, and bill of materials.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts and publish reports as needed

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 
  • Background in Receiving, Warehouse, and/or Material Handling.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, planning, and organization.
  • Excellent multitasking ability, analytical ability, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Accomplished math skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
