  • Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

  • Pay: $26.00–$29.00/hour (DOE)

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (On-site)

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will manage vendor invoices, maintain precise records, and support core accounting functions. We are looking for a candidate with well-rounded, full-cycle accounting skills who can step in, handle AP operations smoothly, and assist across other areas like AR and Payroll when needed.
What You’ll Do

  • Invoice Processing: Perform manual 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents. Route, code, and process incoming invoices efficiently in the ERP system.

  • Vendor & Statement Management: Review supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond professionally to vendor inquiries.

  • Payment Execution: Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.

  • Month-End & GL Support: Assist with month-end close activities, including tracking recurring invoices, calculating accruals, and preparing basic journal entries.

  • Fixed Assets: Help maintain Capital in Progress (CIP) and Fixed Asset documentation.

  • Cross-Functional & Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, employee expense reimbursements, or 401(k) tracking as needed to support team coverage.
What You’ll Bring Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable or accounting operations experience.

  • Core AP Skills: Direct experience with manual 3-way matching, routing, coding, and ERP processing.

  • Software: Regular proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet management and reporting. Experience with ERP systems.

  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full-Cycle Skill Set: Well-rounded accounting background (experience handling journal entries, accruals, or month-end close).

  • AR & Payroll: Prior experience supporting Accounts Receivable, billing, or Payroll function/systems.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
