Job Title: Apprentice Shop Painter
Pay: $15.05 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What You’ll Do
As an Apprentice Shop Painter, you will be responsible for:


• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces to ready them for painting


• Painting Application: Operate spray guns or HVLP systems to apply paints, sealers, and clear coats in spray booths


• Color Matching: Mix paints and coatings to match specific color requirements


• Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools, spray guns, spray booth, filters, and ventilation systems


• Quality Inspection: Check parts before and after painting for defects like runs or uneven spots

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:


• A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills


• Ability to stand for the entire shift


• Physical capacity to bend, twist, kneel, and lift 30-50 lbs regularly without difficulty


• A team-oriented attitude and reliable attendance
