As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you'll be essential in ensuring seamless production by programming, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will enhance quality, efficiency, and output on the shop floor, making a real difference every day.

What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, programming, and operating older CNC lathe machines to produce precision components.
  • Writing, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical tolerances to meet specifications.
  • Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds tailored to each project.
  • Monitoring machining operations and making real-time adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Performing routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality and accuracy standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve machining issues and improve processes.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with safety standards.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer, particularly with older CNC lathe machines.
  • Hands-on experience in programming and operating CNC lathes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and tolerances confidently.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and producing reliable, high-quality parts.
