Job Title: Mill Laborer (Swing Shift) — Urgently Hiring
Pay: $17/hour - Roll over to $19/hr upon permanent hire!
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4 PM – 3 AM
Start Date: ASAP

Join a well-known mill in Roseburg, Oregon, as a Mill Laborer where you’ll be part of a hardworking production team and play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of daily mill operations. As a Mill Laborer, you’ll support production flow, material handling, and quality control in a fast-paced sawmill environment. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being on their feet throughout the day.

What You'll Do:
As a Mill Laborer, you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring production lines to identify and resolve any overlapping boards to ensure smooth operation.
  • Uncrossing boards to maintain a continuous and safe production flow.
  • Transferring materials from baskets to assigned locations with precision.
  • Performing edger picking by identifying and separating broken or damaged wood from usable materials.
  • Supporting overall mill operations to uphold productivity and safety standards through various tasks as needed.
