Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/hour DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 5 pm. Day Shift
Start Date: ASAP

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll help ensure smooth communication between customers and the production team. You’ll work closely with sales and operations to deliver outstanding service, support scheduling, and coordinate projects that keep the business running efficiently.

What You’ll Do


As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing a portfolio of commercial and industrial customer accounts.
  • Supporting the outside sales team with quotes, scheduling, follow-up, customer communication, and project coordination.
  • Preparing estimates and quotations (training provided).
  • Scheduling production jobs and customer deliveries.
  • Coordinating customer orders with production, shipping, and management teams.
  • Following up with customers regarding estimates, production schedules, and completed orders.
  • Resolving customer concerns quickly while providing exceptional service.
  • Learning manufacturing processes to confidently assist customers.
  • Maintaining accurate work orders, customer records, and production documentation.
  • Assisting with incoming phone calls and walk-in customer inquiries.

What You’ll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of verifiable customer service experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in industries such as fabrication, welding, machine shops, industrial supply, manufacturing, finishing, or similar settings.
  • Powder coating industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, or manufacturing ERP systems is a plus.
  • A professional, friendly demeanor and a passion for building customer relationships.
  • A dependable work ethic and excellent attendance.

Location & Schedule:


This position is on-site in Tangent, OR, and offers a full-time day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
