Job Title: Mill Machine Operator
Pay: $24.00/hour
Hours: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Mill Machine Operator, you'll operate heavy machinery, ensure smooth production processes, and perform quality checks to maintain high standards. You'll work closely with fellow team members to keep operations running efficiently and safely.

What You'll Do As a Mill Machine Operator, you will be responsible for
• Operate and adjust multiple pellet mills to meet daily production goals
• Perform quality control testing on finished pellets (durability, fines, moisture, ash content) and raw materials
• Conduct roll changes on pellet mills safely using overhead hoists
• Monitor equipment feed rates, temperatures, and bearing conditions to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with dryer operators to maintain precise product moisture levels
• Keep the work area tidy and safe by clearing sawdust and debris around the mill room
• Safely navigate catwalks and ladders up to 30 feet to inspect equipment

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Sit-down forklift experience and the ability to pass internal certification
• Manufacturing experience required
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and basic math skills
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for 12-hour shifts, and work in tight or elevated spaces
• Comfort working in high-temperature and high-humidity environments
• Strong safety focus, dependability, and a team-first mindset
