Job Title: Human Resource Assistant
Pay: $20/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Human Resource Assistant, you'll support the People & Culture team and staff by providing crucial HR assistance, managing HRIS data, and helping streamline HR processes. You’ll work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure efficient recruitment, employee onboarding, and HR administration, contributing to a supportive work environment.

What You'll Do
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating and supporting supervisors with recruitment and selection activities, including communicating with candidates, recruiters, and hiring leaders throughout the process.
  • Orienting new employees to HR systems like Paycor, including timesheets, leave requests, leave balances, and check stub information.
  • Completing requests from external entities that require verified information on current or past employees, such as income verification or child support documentation.
  • Assisting supervisors and managers with timecard management, HR actions, and other Paycor-related processes.
  • Managing digital HR files and maintaining organized records.
  • Processing invoices and supporting other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems; Paycor experience is A MUST
  • At least one year of experience providing excellent customer service or HR support in a business or organizational setting, or equivalent education and experience supporting HR functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Location & Schedule:
This is a 14wk assignment, on-site position in Salem, OR, offering Monday through Friday shifts between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
