Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00+ per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Are you seeking a skilled welding role with a stable weekday schedule? Join a well-established local steel manufacturing company specializing in catch basins, sand collectors, trench drains, and grating products as a Welder Fabricator in Eugene, Oregon, and take the next step in your welding career. As a Welder Fabricator, you’ll perform MIG welding, structural fabrication, and metal cutting operations to support the production of custom steel components. You’ll collaborate with a knowledgeable team in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing MIG welding using .045 wire to create strong, precise connections.
  • Welding and fabricating structural steel components to meet production standards.
  • Cutting metal parts with shears and Parana equipment for accurate dimensions.
  • Operating torches and plasma cutters to achieve desired metal shapes.
  • Fabricating full-size catch basins to specifications.
  • Welding grates using various techniques, including tack and spot welding.
  • Following established safety standards and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Utilizing personal tools, including a welding hood (required for welders).
  • Learning additional fabrication tasks as training is provided to expand your skill set.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • At least 2 years of welding/fabrication experience, with specific expertise in MIG welding.
  • Experience working with structural steel components.
  • Strong measurement and blueprint-reading skills for accurate fabrication.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • A reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn additional fabrication skills.
