What You’ll Do
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating manual and CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds according to materials and specifications.
  • Measuring and inspecting parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to maintain high precision.
  • Making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency while maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Moving materials and finished parts using overhead cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace to promote a culture of safety excellence.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 2+ years of machining experience preferred, with proficiency in manual and CNC equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong understanding of tolerances, measurements, and different materials.
  • Familiarity with shop tools, machining technology, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active and alert throughout the shift.
  • Experience with overhead cranes or forklifts is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a reliable work ethic.
