Maintenance Technician — Urgently hiring in Springfield!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay: $21–$23/hour (DOE)
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (limit this to just the weekday and hours)
Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on maintenance role where your skills make an immediate difference? Join a reputable property management team in Springfield, Oregon, as a Maintenance Technician and help keep apartment turnover projects running smoothly.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support unit turns and general maintenance for two properties located in Springfield. You’ll work independently at times but also as part of a team that values reliability, communication, and quality work.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Completing apartment turnover prep and punch-list items
  • Painting (touch-ups, walls/trim, basic prep)
  • Drywall patching/repair
  • Changing out blinds and handling basic unit-ready tasks
  • Supporting general maintenance needs as they come up (Preferred)
  • Assisting with pool testing (if experienced)

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • A team-player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Basic maintenance experience (property maintenance/turnover experience is a plus)
  • Pool testing knowledge

Location & Schedule:

This is a temporary on-site position in Springfield, OR. Schedules available: Tue–Sat (pool testing experience preferred) or Mon–Fri 8am–5pm.
