Job Title: Manual Machinist
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00+ per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

As a Manual Machinist, you’ll play a key role in the operation and maintenance of metal lathes and related machinery, ensuring that hydraulic components are repaired efficiently and safely. You’ll work closely with a small, skilled team to produce precision parts and keep equipment running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining manual metal lathes and other shop machinery

  • Running grinders and performing light welding as needed

  • Measuring, cutting, and machining components to precise specifications

  • Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized work environment

  • Assisting in the repair and fabrication of hydraulic and pneumatic components

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Proven experience operating manual machining equipment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Comfort using pneumatic tools and hand tools safely and efficiently

  • Ability to lift and maneuver 40–50 lbs consistently

  • Ability to read and interpret measurements and convert fractions to decimals

  • No certifications required
