Pay: $19.50/hr with $.30/hr shift differential
Hours: Swing shift; 2:45pm-11:00pm; will work weekends

As a Mill Production Laborer, you’ll play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You'll work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations, maintain quality, and keep safety at the forefront. This is your chance to start your growth in a rewarding environment!

What You'll Do
As a Mill Production Laborer, you will be responsible for:
  • Picking up and moving sheets of veneer to feed the dryer, ensuring proper alignment and feeding according to production needs
  • Managing the conveyor platform to maintain proper veneer height and addressing machine jams or blockages
  • Removing overlaps, discarding wane sheets, and ensuring the correct number of sheets are fed into the dryer
  • Operating manual controls and pedals to move and regulate veneer sheets
  • Assisting with basic maintenance tasks, cleaning equipment, and performing weekly upkeep of machinery
  • Supporting co-workers and maintenance staff during troubleshooting and machinery adjustments
  • Maintaining a clean work area during downtime and shift changes
