CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift) - Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $32 - $45 per hour (with a $2.50/hr morning differential and $3.00/hr afternoon differential for weekend shifts)
Hours: Weekend shifts available: Friday–Sunday; Morning: 3:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Afternoon: 3:30 PM - 3:30 AM
Start Date: ASAP

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-precision manufacturing processes by setting up and operating state-of-the-art CNC equipment. You will work closely with engineers and team members to deliver quality results and support a collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating CNC mill-turn equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and machining specifications.
  • Loading and measuring materials to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.
  • Diagnosing and resolving machining issues in coordination with programmers and team members.
  • Maintaining accurate production and inspection documentation.
  • Supporting other shop functions as needed, including manual lathe, EDM, and forging.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Vocational training or a minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Proficiency in measurement tools and in-process inspection.
  • Strong math, geometry, and blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems is preferred.
