Job Title: Press Brake Operator – Day Shift
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Looking for a skilled fabrication role in a world-class metal shop? Join a respected local manufacturer specializing in high-quality contract fabrication as a Press Brake Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and expand your technical forming and metalworking skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll set up, program, and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components to precise specifications, supporting production goals and maintaining exceptional quality standards across the shop.
What You’ll Do:
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, adjusting, and operating press brake machines to accurately form metal parts.
  • Reading blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings to determine the correct bend sequences.
  • Selecting tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and thickness.
  • Performing test bends and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Inspecting finished parts for conformance to tolerances and quality standards.
  • Handling and positioning materials manually or with overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and part identification.
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe according to shop standards.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous press brake operation experience (preferred).
  • The ability to read blueprints and understand bend allowances and tolerances.
  • Strong math, measurement, and dimensional accuracy skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with large metal parts.
  • Comfort working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
