As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth production processes by programming, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathes. Your adaptability and mechanical expertise will directly influence quality, efficiency, and output on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, programming, and operating older CNC lathe machines.
  • Writing, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and tolerances.
  • Selecting tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for each job.
  • Monitoring machining processes and making real-time adjustments.
  • Performing routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet accuracy and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with production teams to resolve machining challenges.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer.
  • Hands-on experience running and programming older CNC lathes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in reading mechanical drawings and tolerances.
  • A solid commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.
