Pay: $18 - $19/hr (with salary increase upon permanent hire)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products, supporting daily operations, and contributing to a culture of excellence.
What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing scheduled laboratory tests on samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products to meet company product standards.
  • Conducting inspections of materials, including raw and packaging materials, to ensure compliance with company quality benchmarks.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of test results as required.
  • Mixing and controlling concentrations of standard laboratory reagents.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment in good operating condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Managing chemical reagents inventory and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Assisting with waste treatment, yeast cultivation, and yeast culture transfer.
  • Safeguarding the confidentiality of all formulations, ingredients, and test methods.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and/or Food Science, OR at least two years of college education resulting in an associate degree with relevant coursework in chemistry, microbiology, or biochemistry, including practical laboratory procedures.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Food Manufacturing Quality Control Laboratory environment is highly desirable, with bacterial culturing experience preferred.
  • Strong record-keeping abilities and attention to detail demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a multicultural environment.
  • The physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods and safely handle chemicals and mechanical testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of safe laboratory practices and experience with chemical reagents and laboratory equipment.
