Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator in Corvallis, OR — Urgently Hiring!

Job Title: Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator
Pay: $21.00 (training) $23.10 (night shift)
Hours: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (4x10 schedule)
Start Date: ASAP

As a key member of our team, you’ll operate equipment, support production, and ensure safety standards are met. You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver results that make a difference.

What You’ll Do:
  • Operate bottling, labeling, and packaging lines to prepare finished goods for timely shipment.
  • Decant 1-gallon containers into smaller bottles within glovebox environments, following all safety protocols.
  • Select, prepare, and organize bottles for distribution from various storage locations.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain chemical manufacturing equipment in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Replace gas cylinders and manage chemical waste, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Support high-volume production and pilot batch processes to meet manufacturing targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct weekly inventory counts, document records accurately, and prepare shipments for the warehouse.
  • Assist engineers and technicians with special projects and tasks as needed.
  • Record shift progress in pass-down logs and follow change-control procedures within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, including forklift operation.
  • Willingness to train on day shift before transitioning to night shift.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive attitude.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with high-purity chemical handling is a plus.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, operate equipment for moving drums, and work in glovebox environments with PPE.
