Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour, DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll play a vital role in setting up, programming, and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal parts to exact specifications. Your expertise will help support production goals and uphold the strict quality standards our shop is known for.
What You’ll Do:
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, adjusting, and operating press brake machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, bend schedules, and fabrication drawings accurately.
  • Selecting tooling, dies, and appropriate machine settings based on specific job requirements.
  • Performing test bends and making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and part conformity.
  • Producing metal parts with precise angles, bends, and tolerances while adhering to safety standards.
  • Handling materials manually or utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
  • Marking and documenting completed parts with the correct job order and routing information.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with shop protocols.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous experience operating press brakes or fabrication machines (preferred).
  • Strong reading, math, and dimensional measurement skills to interpret blueprints effectively.
  • An ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver large metal parts safely.
  • Comfort operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other related equipment.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic that contributes to team success.
