Job Title: Flooring Sales Associate & Estimator
Pay: $48,000 - 54,000 per year
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8-hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

Join our client, a leading flooring retailer serving Lane County for over 80 years, as a Sales Associate & Estimator in Eugene, Oregon, and become part of a trusted team known for exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.

As a Sales Associate & Estimator, you’ll guide customers through the flooring selection process and create accurate project estimates, helping them bring their renovation and design goals to life. You’ll work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from the showroom visit to project completion.
 
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Associate & Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers in selecting flooring products that best meet their needs

  • Providing expert product knowledge and making professional recommendations

  • Visiting customer homes or job sites to take accurate measurements

  • Preparing detailed estimates, material takeoffs, and cost breakdowns

  • Communicating clearly with customers, vendors, and installation crews

  • Maintaining a clean, organized showroom and updating product displays

  • Learning product lines, installation basics, and estimating software/tools

  • Building long-term customer relationships through excellent service

  • Supporting daily store operations and contributing to sales goals

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 1 year of sales experience (preferred, but not required)

  • Experience in floor covering, construction, or estimating (preferred)

  • Strong math skills and the ability to complete accurate measurements

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up skills

  • Motivation, friendliness, and willingness to learn and grow

  • Reliable transportation for local estimating visits

  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the day while assisting customers

  • Comfort learning software or digital tools used for estimating
