Job Title: Shaving Line Operator
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
Hours:
  • Training: Monday - Friday 3pm to 1:30am
  • Shifts:
    • Monday - Saturday 11pm to 7:30am
    • OR
    • Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm
      Start Date: ASAP

As a Shaving Line Operator, you will be instrumental in supporting daily operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient workflows. You’ll work closely with the production team to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Do:
As a Shaving Line Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating bagging and baler machines, shrink wrap machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bag sealers.
  • Conducting quality checks on bags to ensure proper seals and packaging standards.
  • Assisting in other production areas as needed to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
  • Moving finished pallets with a forklift to the appropriate stacking area.
  • Using skid steers or front-end loaders to load feed bins efficiently.
  • Assisting Shift Leads with pellet mill operations and identifying/reporting any material or moisture-related issues.
  • Performing basic maintenance tasks such as greasing mills, changing/sharpening blades, and troubleshooting minor repairs.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Forklift operational experience is required.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems is preferred.
  • The ability to lift and maneuver 40–70 lb bags regularly.
  • A willingness to operate or learn to operate a chainsaw.
