Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: $18.00/hr
Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you’ll play an essential role in handling inventory accuracy, quality control, and shipping coordination. You’ll collaborate closely with supervisors to ensure everything from incoming materials to outbound shipments is processed efficiently and accurately, keeping the production line moving smoothly.

What You’ll Do
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Counting, verifying quality, and identifying incoming materials according to receiving procedures
  • Marking, storing, and staging materials in an organized manner
  • Maintaining and performing physical counts of inventory for accuracy
  • Preparing and verifying documentation for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Assembling orders and verifying quantities, weights, and specifications
  • Preparing shipping paperwork and entering shipment data into computer systems
  • Selecting or constructing appropriate crates, pallets, or containers for shipments
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Following all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment
  • Performing additional warehouse duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of shipping, receiving, or material handling experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability to read English, use SAE and metric tape measures
  • Strong math, writing, and computer data-entry skills
  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Understanding of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping/receiving procedures
  • Knowledge of material specifications and quality standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks comfortably
