As Shipping and Receiving, you'll support daily logistics operations, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials and products. You'll work closely with the warehouse team to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards, contributing directly to the company's success.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping and Receiving technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and packaging shipments for various carriers, selecting appropriate containers, and securely packing items to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verifying all certifications and inspections are completed accurately before shipment.
  • Weighing shipments and attaching labels, stencils, or identifying information onto crates or containers.
  • Reviewing work orders to confirm quantities, destinations, methods, and carrier details are correct.
  • Affixing shipping labels, certifications, and packing slips to packages in accordance with company procedures.
  • Receiving and unloading incoming materials, comparing packing slips with purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy.
  • Sorting, counting, packaging, labeling, and inspecting received or shipped products for damages or defects, documenting discrepancies, and notifying supervisors or purchasing personnel.
  • Delivering received items to designated locations within the facility.
  • Operating equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts to load and unload supplies and equipment safely.
  • Assisting in routine maintenance of equipment and adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned to support team operations.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • At least 1 year of direct experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing.
  • The ability to lift and handle heavy objects safely.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in counting and verifying quantities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping methods, procedures, and related safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with light equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Attention to detail to identify discrepancies, damages, or issues promptly.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to stand and walk consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
