Job Title: Warehouse Technician Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $21.00/hour 
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a Warehouse Technician for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturing company located in Corvallis, OR. The Warehouse Technician will play an essential role in supporting the logistics team and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse and laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely handling dangerous goods shipments, inventory management, and supporting laboratory operations. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing training and certification courses on dangerous goods shipping and waste handling.

  • Accurately packing, labeling, and managing dangerous goods shipments to global customers.

  • Monitoring and maintaining inventories of shipping, waste processing supplies, and laboratory consumables.

  • Processing incoming freight shipments and ensuring proper storage and documentation.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, meeting all safety and EHS standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant work experience OR an Associate’s degree in a scientific or technical field.

  • Experience: Previous work in a laboratory or manufacturing environment; experience with chemical handling and hazardous materials preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., wrench, pliers, screwdriver, drill, saw) and use forklifts or hand trucks to move freight.

  • Certification Requirement: DOT regulatory compliance or dangerous goods shipping certification is a plus.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and wear required protective clothing (footwear, eyewear, masks, etc.).
