Job Title:Warehouse Worker
Pay:$20/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM with possible Saturday work when busy
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker for a Temp-Hire position with our customer, a reputable metal supply company located in Eugene, Oregon. The Warehouse Worker will play an essential role in the hands on logistics and handling of steel pieces and inventory. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a large and local steel logistics operation located in Eugene, Oregon. 
 
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for:
  • Greet customers with respectable and service-minded attitude.
  • Accurately determine the type and quantity of material requested by the customer verbally or by sales order provided to pull and cut customer orders.
  • Pull, lift or reach for specific items from their respective storage areas in preparation for moving by related forklift or crane to another location.
  • Operate crane or forklift on a frequent basis for moving and retrieving material during work shift.
  • Load customer vehicle/trailer with complete orders.
  • Deliver products to various job sites driving company pickup truck and flatbed
  • Perform other various duties to and including general housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment
  • Must have basic math proficiency
  • Working knowledge and ability to learn with established training period.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Must have valid driver's license and insurance (will be doing some local deliveries)
  • Good math proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly through the shift
  • Measuring tool ability
  • Prior Forklift knowledge
  • Be on time and show up to work
  • Work Boots
